I got my two Highgate banana plants! They look great! They are huge plants for a 4" pot. Now I just have to wait for these TC plants to grow.

Variety in taste would include Saba or Praying Hands, a red banana, Lakatan (less sweet, stronger flavor) and Misi Luki or Namwah. Most of these are tall in inbetween.

I have got to say that it is strange that you haven’t got a bigger response to these being available. To me this variety is the Holy Grail of bananas. It is a shorter, stouter variety of Gros Michel....

9/10 the issue with banana plants in pots, especially in cool environments, is overwatering which causes root rot. Better if soil has a dry feel to it rather than moist in temps below 65F.
