They appear to be a type of Pome, also commonly known as Brazilian.
There are many different cultivars so it's hard to say what the exact name might be, but that's the general type.

Yes, it is. A few members have tasted both and reported that they prefer Namwah. But, again, taste is subjective. If you truly want a Blue Java, put a request in on the wanted board. Good luck.
