USPS that are cut similar to the one I have in the photo.
We do this to save on shipping costs

That was a nice plant! The corm (stump) should still develop a new central stem if it has kept apical dominance. If not it should bud from the sides. Make sure to keep the soil mix reasonably moist...

Right now it is the rainy season so we try not to water but if we have 3-4 days without rain then we will irrigate these young plants. During the dry season we normally water the bananas...
