Its "winter" in San Diego. This is a tough part of the year. Temps are cooler, so the soil needs to be less wet to avoid root rot, but the humidity is negligible, so the plant is loosing moisture...

You don't want the minimum, you want a temp warm enough to encourage growth. At 55F it is probably a goner because it is so small.

If your heated tunnel has been working well so far, and is 70F plus it should be fine where it is. It is pretty small, so heat is the main ingredient.

55-75 night-day is winter. Plant growth will drop dramatically. Consider a temp greenhouse with some night heat till spring comes. Do not overwater, but do not let it fry out.
