"Direct" moisture such as a humidifier to the stem. Not enough sunlight. Not hot enough.

Yikes, cat poop has a strong odor and the ammonia is gross.

Why not use fish fertilizer or soil additives? Are you looking to attract beneficial bugs to your soil?

Too much fertilizer. Can you rinse it out the bottom of the planter? I've seen it done on Youtube, where they water the plant until the fertilizer color becomes clear. Edit: Just want to mention this...
