Hi, definitely in shock. Too much sun and cold temp. I don't put mine out until temp. is in the 70s at least. Shade first and gradually move into the sun. Good luck!!

Hi, I have Thai Black and they have a black pseudo stem even at a foot tall. The more sun the darker they get. I am in zone 7 and Thai don't survive our Winter. Maybe you have Basjoo.

Yes, it was stored bare root in my basement. Though it is warm down there, I kept it wrapped. Tried the same with Thai Blk and they rotted. I will take a pic & post.

Everything I've bought so far as been what I ordered. I bought Basjoo from Ted's greenhouse afew years ago, no problem. I bought from Wellspring,no problem. Maybe I have been lucky. :2722:
