Ed.. Why not compost? Homade compost is a wonderful mulch with the added benefit of fertilizer built in. (If you are referring to the bagged kind from walmart, I agree.)
I usually use my homade stuff...

They will be ok... I would probably prop up the one leaning bad, but the others are ok. They may need propping when they have a bunch on, though as they were weakened a little by this.

Brazilian is the hardiest banana I have seen... Against pests, disease and cold. Taste great as well. The only downside is a 5-6 month wait for ripening.

So, you are verifying that what he said is accurate, at least to some extent as regularly, jackfruit are strictly 10 b (above 32) trees that get to 100 feet.

Thankfully, namwah is easily recognizable at an early stage... Those mauve (It's a color, purplish pink for men like me... My wife's favorite color, so I know it.) midribs give it away every time......
