Taking this as an opportunity to update on the full collection:
The flower wonít progress (itís literally flowering 6 inches up from a cut stem) with no leaves) but the bigger stems are looking good...

I just got one hill banana from Himachal Pradesh (Himalayan Mountain) and one Musa x Fruit that is a cold hardy, fast growing and 2,5m banana variety.

Hi! Yes she is very small. And it's the first year (summer) on ground! I was very surprized whei i saw she was fruiting and the fruits keep growing... just impressive!

Ull throw my .02 in.. for me it doesnt matter what fert you use.. bananas require certain amounts of NPK to grow, and you can calculate how much to give it based on the percentage of NPK in each...

Brands are different ....but the ingredients are the same.:)
Buy in the fall when there is a clearance or broken bags at the big box.......for future...
