I just read up on the FHIA-01 and the Dwarf Namwah in the Kepler and Rust book, and it fits almost to a T the Goldfinger. Does not fit the description, or look like the namwah at all.

ok so here's what's left of my "goldfinger" harvest from last week. I got these plants form Tony AKA Sunfish. He told me when he gave them to me these were supposed to be the "Real" FHIA-1...

So I got the rice hulls and popped the Corms in there, but what happened is that they are so light and air, they don't hold heat like the sawdust. Even with a heating mat they got too cold, so I'm...

I honestly don't know the answer to that question. I'm going to use a white/soft wood this go around as the others were in a dark/hardwood last time.

Once I get some more corms going I'll be trying...

Those aren't Namwah, they are Blue Javas.
The base plant was received from a reputable member here who have the real Blue Javas, which is what these are.
Not Namwah.

It's easier than all the sterilization and the precise temperatures and all that stuff.

Which is why I just stopped.
Now the macro is going so I'm hoping it will be super easy once I get it down.

This was my lab/flow hood. Made out of a plastic bin with an air filter with a "HEPA" filter put into it. I doubt it was a true HEPA filter but it worked well. I used to have a full on HEPA hood but...

90% rubbing alcohol works fine too. Doesn't smell bad like bleach does.
Spray bottle and wipe.

Tried TCing once. but was more work that mushrooms so I stopped. Now with the macro prop, it's easier...

Make sure to let it run for a while before using it each time, IF you shut it down after each use. Contaminants get in there between uses and can contaminate your agar/cultures if you don't let it...
