Does hanging bunches upside down slow ripening?

I had someone tell me he has personally done it several times and it spreads out ripening time so you don't have to eat them all at once. Anyone know about this from experience?

Yes: especially Namwa, Orinoco, Mysore, and a few others. However, sustained temperatures below 50F will cause Musas to slow down or completely stop growth for awhile. So don't expect those fruits...

We are having a really early frost in Dallas, TX. Forecasted to hit 33/32 for an our or two Saturday morning. Then down to 30 later in the week,

Keep the photos coming, and DO NOT cut off the male bud below the bunch when the fruit is done forming, it is very helpful for a proper ID.
