That's called "choking"... when the flower & leaves come out the side & not the top. I read that Raja Puri are prone to this so maybe a R Puri? More pics please!:)

At this stage, horse manure is not going to do much unless you apply about 25 lbs of dry composted material and then cover it with mulch. There isn't enough room in that planter!
