You're most likely seeing the male flowers falling off. The female flowers appear first and will develop into bananas. It's completely normal.

Pulled all the corms today and was pleasantly surprised to see that the corms had made some improvement since I last checked them. The second Manini and the Fhia-21 have put out a nice root system....

Without a photo it will be hard to say for sure. It could be a veinte cohol, a patupi, or pitogo. Those are small and sweet fruits.

Geez, I hope that's not the one you're selling on ebay. I plan on making that one my newest addition! Looks like they've soaked that corm in water for two weeks straight.

Nursery Fertilizers
Banana Fuel: 15-5-30. Great for the tropics but in the U.S. (esp. the midwest) you'll need Nitrogen supplement.
Going Bananas: 9-3-27. An excellent Potash supplement.

Hey Keith, What would you say your average is on your manini pups that you keep? I assume you throw out the all green and all white pups. I was just curious if they produced a lot of unwanted suckers.
