Any pics? I went with the Rubo. because I was told it would get the largest for the cold hardy types, but then had to add the aureo because the clum color...

Seed started soaking on the Oct 14, set up on Oct 16.
First check with germination results Nov 18
So 36 days from start of soaking.

Hey D&T,

I believe they are hardy 7a (0f - 5f).
I have some I plant in the ground and then dig back up and pot for the winter. I didn't get blooms, but started them from rhizomes in june.

Whatever,

Sikkimensis can be more colorful than basjoo, the undersides of the leaves are reddish and they can have red marks on the tops. I haven't tried any yet, I ordered some, but recieved...

For the colder zones you have 4 options:
-Plants you leave in the ground: cold hardy with mulch and other winter protection
