Re: Banana flowers without leaves

The stem that bloomed will die, the pup will take over and continue to grow. The corm may also put out more pups.

If you want to start waking them up you can pot them up. Water sparingly, put in an warm area with good lighting. Give them time, a watched plant never grows.:ha:

Re: Hello! I'm new at this and I have questions!

Check YouTube video's & there is some good info here. When wintering over do not over water. Your plants will slow down or go dormant and wet soil can and will rot the roots.

Are you fertilizing it? Too much fertilizer can cause this problem.

Cut it back to the corm and plant it in a pot that drains good, it looks like it has a few roots. It might grow back for you, let it dry between watering.
