The planting gets about 5+ hours of mid afternoon full sun.
Once the basjoos mature at about a month or two they will provide a canopy for the ferns.
Both plants do very well grown out of normal...

I got it as a very small pup mid 2020 and then it died back some in the 2021 texas winter storm but continued to grow.
It got to about 7ft pstem last year but after winter I cut it down to 6ft and...
