Re: Nepenthes Pitcher Plant

Thanks, cinc. and beam..

In the 60s and 70s, Nepenthes were almost impossible to buy in the USA. I saw a few plants at Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory, which, at the time, was the largest...

Re: Aloha

In the spirit of sharing knowledge and experience, and not just putting others down, I'd truly enjoy seeing some evidence of what you're trying to refute me on.

So please, for all of our benefit and...

Re: Ooverwintered inside dwarf cavendish flowering

The plant will need the leaves to fill out the fruit, so I wouldn't cut them off, but perhaps if you make a slit down the side of the pseudostem to allow the bunch to plop out of the pseudostem a...

Re: What's blooming in your garden? (bananas)

First African Rhino Horn. Just under a year to flower. This has been one I've waited on for years with a weak plant from Aloha Tropicals that still hasn't flowered. Got this one from a friend nearby...
