Here's pictures of my fallen banana plant. It fell about 2-2.5' from the ground. Even though the bananas arn't near ripening, I may be able to use them as green cooking bananas... anyone think that...

Hmmmmm, I'd say it's just more a fact that Florida would be the most prepared state out of any for hurricanes and minor F1-F2 tornados. It also helps that maybe around 80-90% of homes here are block...

It was a 2'+ banana corm (WAS 3'). Had I made it a 1' corm it would have fit!

Well it's make roughly $30-80 an hour (usually averages around $60) for two weeks straight (generally a bathroom in labor is around $3000-5000) and then not know when your next job is if you don't...

Will banana corms survive ground shipping that could take 7-14 days? I've always been scared of ground shipping. The post man told me it would of been MUCH cheaper to have shipped it ground... but...

It was domestic. One from here in FL to IN, one to MN, and one to OR, but the price increase was much higher for MN and OR.

Okay, I just shipped two auctions that I just ended. Usuaully a box the size I shipped would of been $10, not anymore... it's $30... so beware, if you're going to ship a banana corm, or anything...
