Re: Took my bananas outside. Is there now a problem?

They are under the house and should be getting some shade. They need more?

They're in a pourous plant bag and there's a mix of sand in the soil to help. Drainage shouldn't be an issue.

Re: Fruiting in container

Is there any problem with water absorption out of the pot? I mean on the sides? Or is there any issues with the roots poking through?
Thanks.

Re: Oh no!! I broke my banana!! Is it over????

That's good to know. I guess at some point I'll have to decide if I will be able to house it indoors or if it will be too darn tall and I'll never have a fully grown banana tree.. Was going to put...

Re: Alternate between container and ground?

I don't understand what you mean by loss of growth gains. If I put it from ground back into a pot, will part of it die, or growth will just be a bit stunted?

Thanks

Re: Am I burning my banana?

I mentioned burn because the leaf spots look large and brown rather than purple - which is what I expected.

I'm using about 1/2 a cup total around the plant and it is the Tropic Treats Stokes 6-2-12...
