Just a Lasko tower rotating heater. It has a bunch of options but only use the heat energy wise setup. Last one I had bought in 2013 and just quit last winter.

Yea, when it comes to cold and dry weather they are wimpy unless protected or watered well. I grew them for years and just wrapped and mulched. We had a polar vortex in 2018 record low since 1950 and...

I have always wondered on the mulch thing. I mulch heavy here in my zone 8a. I do 4-6Ē I would guess as I just throw it on and eye it. After a few rains/winds it shrinks alittle. Anyone I have asked...

Or like you said animals spread the seeds around. Never grew bananas from seeds before. But have grown some tissue culture bananas and blackberries.

I thought I saw a banana in there but surprised the corm wouldnít rot unless where it is itís not under water all the time. On plants that are reach able spraying them hard with a hose kills off...

A Bayer systemic should work. People use it for agaves, yuccas for weevils and works.

Sounds about right and never saw one growing in moss either. Pretty sure I have never bought any type of plant growing in it. But it does hold moisture so that would explain itís growing conditions...
