Re: Attention: ORCHID GROWERS!
Took these two pics today. I got this plant as a small plantlet some years ago.
In my opinion, P. vitellina is one of the most beautiful orchid species you can cultivate. No greenhouse required. I...

Hi,
finally, I`m back. :)

Re: When do I uncover them?
It`s growing! :) Seems to be no problem to overwinter a Basjoo with minimal protection. Nevertheless, I wouldn`t do the same thing with my taller ones. It´s too sad to lose the p-stems.

Seems like...

I love the scent of my Dad`s Sobralia macrantha, but it seems to disappear very soon...

Re: When do I uncover them?
I uncovered the Basjoo today. Too early, of course, but the next few days will be too warm and sunny to leave the plant under its protection. Fortunately, this is the only Basjoo that I left outside...

Re: Weather forecast
As soon as it gets a bit warmer outside, I´ll finally place my order. It`s still too cold at the moment. I think I`ll go for one or two variegated Ta Nees. Ae Ae and Namwah are too risky.
