wood chippers are pretty powerful, but would the fibers from the plant clog up the machine especially if they were wet? my curiosity is up.

I am thinking more of a machine that might squash it...

my sweetheart has been relatively slow growing when compared to some of the other varieties I have. way slower growing when compared to namwa.

thanks I needed to up date this thread.

my plants have been doing very well, they are now in the dining room for the winter. most of it anyway. they went from 15 and 16 inches in September to 19...

I got mine from a member who has had them fruit, mine have yet to do that.

so going by your pics I would say it is not a dwarf red. for the length of the leaf it should be much wider, in other words...
