Wet leaves is normal. The banana secretes water through the leaves. When my Basjoo was inside, the leaves would drip occasionally.

Lilith, I agree that it is important that the palm thrive rather than survive. This is why I went to the trouble to keep the shelter temperature above -5*C instead of closer to -10*C to -12*C...

Nice looking Velutinas Dan and Tara.

I have 1 1/2 survivors out of the 4 that germinated. Neither have 2 surviving leaves as yet. I'll post pics once they develop further.
