Let the clump die back as it has done before there is no need to do anything different. Do not touch.
Mulch just as you had done in the past.
And pretty much do what everyone else has...

It sounds like the bottom already has.
The top part (that had the leaves) will not live but the bottom part will sort itself out.
The corm is the only part...

After a check around the Jungle the beetles enjoyed the basjoos ,cannas, and a number of aroids.
I did not use any kind of spray on them but I did see the turkeys get the low ones.
And I must admit...

Some forum members would let them be since it is late in the season and then separate in the spring.
Keeping the plants in the container together for a bit does not harm them even if it looks little...

No such luck for me my short growing season does not allow this plant to flower yet. I have had one in a 5gal hydro bucket for a few years now.....just for fun.I got a few decent pups off...

I really like this plants foliage and compactness.

I had the original plant a few seasons and this year the original plant pushed two January leaves then rotted and rewarded me...

You can grow big plants under the right conditions.
Contianer 24 gal..us

Fertilizer triple 19 granular.
This plant was on irrigation .....but was hand watered once it started pupping.

I have some...

Is you plant in the ground or in a pot?

Pots heat up pretty quick and could cause some cascading issues.
