Never keep bananas next to radiators, if the radiator is on. Bananas hate dry heat, radiators produce, you will need a humidifier next to your banana when the radiator is on. Keep a weather station...

Unfortunately Mike. I thought it was just the plug aswell, if i order anything electrical again from abroad i will make sure to check the appliance voltage.

My led bulbs are on, swing arm desk lamps, so I can adjust where the light is pointing at. I point them all facing down, that way the light is not hitting my eyes.

I have decided to buy T5 fluorescent lamps 4ft x 8 lamps this winter and see how they do on my bananas especially on the AAA varieties, the T5 lamps will give me 460w with 40000 lumens on...

It's hard to tell what it is, unless you see the flower and fruit on it, it could be one of many variegated Musa, does the mother plant have variegation on its leaves, since some varieties...

Agree with Bill, Ae Ae is a ABB cultivar while Florida is AAA cultivar, that's why Florida is more cold sensitive.

Looking at the corm, it looks very small by the photos, there is hardly any corm at the bottom of it, it should be more onion shaped, which means there wont be enough energy in the central...

That red musa, is definitely a dwarf red or tall red and it looks beautiful. Kru has a bio coloured red/pink and green p-stem which is also noticeable on the petiole.kru also has burgundy...

It looks like its in shade, you haven't put it under a tree or another large plant have you, if not, it might need fertilizer, if you haven't already given it.
