Thanks Pete. We do not use our camera enough. I just took pictures constantly throughout the trip and culled through them later.
I love going there b/c it's a lot of what I want my backyard to look...

That is Trachycarpus fortunei (windmill palm). They look much nicer when grown in shade.

A small palm would be the most trouble free. Chamaedoreas for the most part can be good house plants. I have seedlings of C. tepijilote, C. costaricana, and C. klotskiana. I need to get rid of some...
