Fay is pounding my nanas.
The acutual bananas are ok, but the plants are taking a pounding. Many broken leaf stalks, all the leaves are shredded.
...and the worst is still to come. Highest winds are expected tomorrow...

Question for you, as the bloom worked it's way down, did the bananas beneath the leafs start getting smaller and smaller? And if so, are the growing to be the same...

The stuff I have on my leaves is very thick, gooey and sticky. It's definitely coming from the blooms as it's only found directly below them.

Added pictures from Sunday. The little green spot showing on Saturday opened all the way overnight to reveal the full second bunch of bananas!
