I repotted them, dumped the ant colony in the trash outside in the snow. rinsed the roots and repotted them, they are much happier and the ants and ants food source has been removed.

Im going to be getting some ladybugs come warmer weather to help. growing castor beans near by also wards off bugs.

I read today that castor beans and coffee bean trees also are good companions to bananas.

I went with plastic containers. About 2.5-3 gallon i think. I have 2 musa dwarf Brazilians. I am looking into getting some smaller varieties as well in the future.

I plan to keep them indoors as I always have. Just trying to get them healthier. They were happy and thriving until the ants took over
