It's not that tall - maybe 1.5m? I suspect it's a bit stunted though - as I said, it lives in a pot in my bedroom. I'm from Scotland so not ideal for banana growing really!

I know the photos are rubbish - sorry. I tried to upload some better ones via the gallery but it keeps saying they're not in a valid format. They're .bmp files so I don't know quite why...I'll give...

I've got a banana plant that was bought in Tenerife ~7yrs ago and has been growing in my (not that warm!) room ever since. This summer it's produced a flower - I'm very excited! :D
