As far as the sun issue...it is part sun..shifting all day and some of the bordelon dont get sun at all just bright light...

The planting media is made of sand mostly. I didn't amend like I usually do. I usually use alot of manure and compost and back fill with...

How do I know if I have a banana that is sick? I have a Bordelon. The leaves emerge fine and appear healthy. Then.... the edges begin turning brown and/or yellowing and then eventually turning...

My sister is in zone 6. I sent her Basjoo's a couple years ago. They have done excellent for her. She leaves them in the ground over winter. Just mulches them hard....
