The plant is potted. I removed 2 pups a few weeks ago and now there are 3 that have taken the place of the 2...and already they are close to 3 feet tall...not sure about whether I should leave them...

If the leaf gets too tall, couldn't you just prevent it from coming out of dormancy during the winter by keeping the tuber in cooler conditions?

Also, if the leaf will get too tall for keeping...

Got the plant Dec 2011. it grew slowly during the winter but started growing faster in the spring. As far as pictures I gave up trying to load here and opened up an account on photobucket (free)....
