That's a really huge one for the pot, good job. Do you remember where you bought the seeds? The seeds I've grown from bananatree.com have had red p-stems, and I wouldn't mind growing some with green...

The Japanese beetle -- had a lot of problems with them when I lived in Charlotte, NC. Here in So Fla have not seen a single one. In NC had 2 river birch and 1 white birch trees...

Wow, John. A crape myrtle and in bloom! In Westchester the only crape myrtles we had were in pictures. I guess SI really is warmer. BTW, both my Tonto and Dynamite crape myrtles are blooming now.
