This usually occurs when there is a lot of humidity. You need to take care of it by mixing some fertilizers or chicken manure. Also, do spray your plant with some good insect killers.

I get a flare up occasionally indoors and out.
Mites will travel from host to host....treat everything close.
Spray the soil, pots and saucers too.....they hide everywhere🪴

There are lots of posts on here as you are not alone in the fight against the spider mite army, I use a neem oil, washing-up liquid and warm water mix it works great, if you can take plant outside so...

I got " veranda" from them to, along with someone i was talking with on facebook. our pots both said "veranda/double" so my assumption is it might just be a double mahoi.. i got it in spring 2020,...

if the dead parts are bothering you you can cut just the dead part off...leave all green

i have never heard of it and a quick search did not find it
on the bright side you have a nice banana plant!

Like most plants it depends how you site them in the landscape.
