I suggest erring to the “planted too shallow” vs. “planted too deep” side too. I think planting too deep is the reason for the potted plants that I have lost.

I have never lost anything in my patch....

Hi welcome,
Yes, be worried.
But it’s fixable. You’re mix isn’t lush enough for bananas they’re heavy feeders.
Add any compost top soil to the soil mix no more than an inch of water �� in containers....
