With temps near Atlanta getting down to 33-35 this morning, It was time to wheel in the ones that are way too massive for the grow lights! This borderline freezing temp is only here for one morning...

I'm pretty sure this plant obtained as Blue Java is actually Musa balbisiana, but if someone could confirm that, I'd appreciate it.

I keep them in the ground. After first frost I chop anything over a foot tall. Then throw about a foot or so of hay on them. Then I put a livestock feed bag laying flat on top of the hay to just help...
