Here is a pic from last year.
There is a little light coming 3x 1.5x3 basement windows and double doors.
Almost all of the canopy(7 to 12 feet) is above the light sources so light is at a minimum...

Ammonia? It sometimes keeps them away from garbage. If you start trapping them, expect to keep trapping for a while. Also, check your local laws on live trapping/releasing. You can call your state...
