from what i have read the plant relies on energy stores from its lifetime but you could still fertilize normally with a fruiting ratio of macronutrients and possibly give it a foliar feeding

the day the seeds arrived i was pumped up and said i would plant them later that evening... but i did not get around to it until about a month later

then it consisted mostly of ignoring them,...

i think i missed my opportunity for the banana tobogganing this year... last weekend we had the track built and running nicely and throughout this week it melted but i didnt send any plants down...

i tried to germinate both Ravenala madagascariensis and Phenakospermum guyannense with no luck either.

i got mine for free when i helped a friend pick up a bunch of palms with my trailer

yeah mine is in a 7 gallon pot.. about 5 feet tall

other than the smallest one or two and the odd skinny end of one
my nephews really liked them.. I let them eat most of...

but I would recommend shopping in the "new" section only

there are minimum orders , smaller min order for small packs of seed and larger min order for 100+ seeds packs

mine has been slowly pushing its first leaf but it has emerged barely 6"
slowly getting used to its new environment
just measured the base of the stem... 29" circumference...
