Re: USPS vs. My second Black Thai
Thanks Cory!
The plant in question is also Musa basjoo, but it's var. Sakhalin this time. Honestly, I don't expect the miracles of cold hardiness from this plant (to be exact I just expect it to...

Re: Plants grown from European Seeds
Jack, I've already watched it...yesterday LOL! It's a bit "conspiracytheorish", but makes some sense overall. And the EUCCCP sign is amazingly funny!
We're not trying to fight our neighbours, we're...

Re: Plants grown from European Seeds
That's a lot! They look nice! How do you plan to divide them?

Ensete glaucum
Got 10 of these seeds sprouted, and of course, I've managed to drop one, and that resulted in killing it. So now I've got 9 small nice nanas. Pretty easy seeds to start with, I must admit.
Here's...

Re: New member
Here are some pics of what I'm trying here. I've made a germination box, it's heated with x-mas lights and a heating pad. When the sun is out, I switch it off, because it easily reaches 40C (104F)...

Re: New member
Thanks everyone on your welcomes!
Currently I've got only Super Dwarf Cavendish, and I'm trying to germinate E. glaucum and R. madagascariensis (though it's not a banana). It's nearly impossible to...
