I think this process would work Alocasia Blooms are close enough to Colocasia:
Aroidia Research = Aroid, Araceae, Alocasia, Philodendron, Anthurium Hybridizers (http://aroidia.com/infield.htm)

Mine were "Smoothie Collected" seeds in Costa Rica- I always eat (drink actually) them when we're in Colombia, where they they call it Lulo.

For the Ensete you'll need a really big pot- I drive by a fruit stand that had some giant ones that they planted in containers that looked to be as big as a pallet and about 3' high. They moved them...

A little like Kiwi- but different, personally I think it's almost impossible to describe the taste a fruit.
It's got a harder outside and you generally scoop out the inside.

In Colombia they call it Lulo, and it's used to make a refreshing juice. I've got some seeds started, and plant to try to overwinter it indoors and maybe get fruit next year.....
We'll see.

True- but I don't know if this is "composted" since they make the claim that "alpaca manure doesn't need composting"

One bag for $1 probably won't hurt either way...

Should be easy to tell since it should be in "Pellets"
It would be harder to hide a "mix" with Alpaca.

I can't say yet as to if the Tub/bucket method works- I'm doing it in a dark garage, but I have also over wintered small EE's in jars in the windowsill and they've done fine.

If you're looking for info on how to grow this banana look for musa itinerans. The whole "Mekong Gaint" name seems to have appeared very recently. Brians Botanicals site says he's been growing it...

Seedlings were tiny, last July...planted in pots, I put them out this year and the main plant as well as many of the pups have all flowered.
