Pups will come when the plant is ready, I haven't fertilized my bananas at all they have enough pups. Once they start, you'll have enough of them. I have anywhere from 1-4 on my young plants.

Thanks man, those are actually #4th and 5th suckers, I killed the first two while trying to take them out, I didn't cut them with enough roots, so they died eventually, I didn't like the direction...

If they end up being Orinocos, they say that they are better fully ripe for cooking, you could eat them raw, but again you have to wait till they are fully ripe and it seems most ppl dont like them...
