Re: Free Ice Cream Banana pups
I harvested my bananas bunch on June 13 and on the 16th the whole bunch was yellow and ripe. It may depend on where you hang them, whether it's rather warm or cool.

Re: Free Ice Cream Banana pups
LOL, Oh well, I guess banana varieties can be tricky to pin down.
The texture is very smooth, firm and the taste is rather vanilla-like and sweet.
Just ate three for breakfast!

Re: What did you harvest today (bananas)
Are you thinking they may be ice cream instead of Lady Finger? I'm just going by the variety the Tropical Nursery told me.
What makes you say that? Coloring? Suze?

I'm posting this April update of my first bananas fruit.
I can tell they seem to be rounding out a bit, but still not sure.
Does it look like I should harvest soon?
