I have only had the veinte cohol and California Gold before. I much prefer the California gold.

Just to follow up, I have had 3 bunches ripen so far this year. A small bunch from a Veinte Cohol flowered 6/17 and were picked 8/11. A larger VC bunch flowered around 7/16 and were falling off...

I was told it is best to cut back to one (or at the most two) pups for the healthiest plants. I have some Dwarf Cavendish bananas ,and they seem to put out a lot of pups. I keep cutting them back.

Thank you for your replies. When I read about the dwarf and (super dwarf) cavandish it describes red variegation of the juvenile leaves, which these all have.
