Banana species and cultivars grown?:
Not sure of the kind of banana tree I grew but did manage to grow bananas in VA Beach, (winter overed in a greenhouse of course but now looking to branch out with the following:
1. Musa Siam Ruby Red
2. Musa Ele Ele
3. Musa Red Jewel
4. Musa African Rhino Horn
5. Now this variety is Musa Ensete Ventricosum and I am hoping its also called the Absynnain banana.I like the red inside the leaf.
