Banana species and cultivars grown?:: I have no idea what my baby banana trees are. The mother died and the two pups grew up from the roots.

I was told only that they are semi-dwarf and are dessert type bananas. Other than that, I don't know anything about them.

I've never grown bananas before. I was given a Pineapple Banana tree a few years ago, but it died over the winter.
