Thursday 5/16/08, the emerging leaf was trying to push out for the last 10 months, was only 2" long and was still partially tucked inside the previous leaf petiole base. The afternoon of the following day, it pushed out 10" and still rolled up, after a day in the upper 90s in the greenhouse. Yesterday afternoon, it was completely open and pale green, 20" long, although it has been in the mid-60s all week. This is what it looks like today.
