Wait until the flowers open to be sure - but it looks a bit like what I think is my Orinoco. But I defer to people more experienced!!!!

How much wind can these bananas actually take? Yours looks like it has seen some. I was thinking of planting mine on the south east corner of my home in order to avoid the wind tunnel coming up from the river between me and my neighbour. A fairly consistent wind of how many miles per hour would be too much? Thanks.

i really dont know ow much wind but it has held up through some california rains , this is my first tree , when i planted it i just thought it would look nice on that side not thinking it would fruit.. cant wai
