Here are the pics I tried unsuccesfully to post in a thread earlier. The first photo is the main plant just prior to dividing last weekend. The other shots are of the rhizomes that had filled the pot since last spring. It started out as one small pseudostem last spring. This plant will really run unless contained in a pot!

so you did al that rhizomes cut of and planted them in a pot ?
the plant is looking really healty!!:D

No, I started with one very small plant (about the size that would fill a 1 gallon pot) and planted into the large pot you see in my pictures. The rhizomes are the result of one year of growth.
