Is there really an ocean plate boundary under the island, or is a local fault line, or maybe just the fault of locals?

Hey - we get all the good stuff here - hurricanes, earthquakes, torrential rain but nobody worries!! chill and be happy! We experienced a 6.5 earthquake here 3 or 4 years ago but without much damage. As long as the faults keep slipping with lots of little tremors we will be fine.

Richard - the next time we go by a different better road with road markings - I will try to get photos of how the white line down the middle of the road has shifted sideways.
