Heliconia marginata x bihai 'Rauliniana'
"This is a possible, natural hybrid between pendent Heliconia marginata and erect Heliconia bihai. 'Rauliniana' begins blooming erect, then begins to twist and turn as the inflorescence begins to hang down. This is a medium sized heliconia, about 6-7 feet tall. It has gorgeous bright red bracts lined in yellow, with a red rachis. This plant will grow well in sun to partial shade and blooms from May through August. This wonderful heliconia forms a tight clump and is a prolific bloomer."
