are you shure that this is a Musa sikkimensis?
I think this is a kind of cavendish.
Musa "Dwarf cavendish" ?

Pretty sure, i got it from a specialist Nursery. That said the pups look remarkably like this; http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/47063/
So now you got me thinking.
But the mature leaves are more like this

I have a Dwarf Cavandish pup so can compare the two up close later next season when it grows. If it is Cavandish then on the plus side i may get edible fruit :-) Thanks for the info.
