same thing -- musa basjoo being eaten at night -- if you zoom in closely, it looks like brownish/blackish droppings of some kind? not sure. the plant next to it has no pests at all.

i inspected it thoroughly and didn't find anything... i soaked the top of the plant in hopes of washing something out, then we got a pretty solid rain for about an hour... i will just continue to monitor it, and if the salad bar continues, i will have to start spraying.
